The Japan Meteorological Agency (JMA) has served as one of the WMO Regional Specialized Meteorological Centres (RSMC) for the Atmospheric Transport Model (ATM) products for the nuclear Emergency Response Activities(ERA) in the Regional Association II (RA-II: Asia) since 1997. The procedures for ERA and the details of ATM are presented as the WMO Technical Document entitled "Documentation on RSMC Support for Environmental Emergency Response" (WMO TD/No.778).
